hi, i'm andreas

Systems, Flow & Building Things.

Engineering-minded manager. Systems thinker. Curious builder.

I work at the intersection of business and technology, translating complexity into systems that actually work.

Outside of work, I try to understand how things move — in systems, in nature, and sometimes in thermals above the mountains.

linkedin ↗ occasionally updated between projects and thermals.
What I do
  • Translate business needs into technical systems
  • Design and operate complex IT service landscapes
  • Build and prototype new ideas quickly
  • Connect people, systems, and architecture
  • Reduce complexity into clarity and action

Sometimes I also write code. Sometimes I just think until the system makes sense.

How I think

I tend to see systems before I see details.

Whether it's IT architecture or airflow over mountains — I try to understand the underlying movement, not just the surface.

Then I build from there.

Outside of work
windsurfing → flow & adaptation
paragliding → reading thermals
gliding → precision in motion
road cycling → effortless velocity
AI prototyping → curiosity in action
being a dad → grounded perspective

I like things that move efficiently — whether it's systems or wind.

Now

Currently leading SAP-related IT services in the critical infrastructure space, while exploring system thinking, AI-assisted prototyping, and the intersection of business and technology.

Still learning how to read complex systems better every day — technical or natural.
